Exterior Features
The 2012 Audi A7 is a large, 5-door luxury hatchback available in three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. The A7 comes standard with 18-inch wheels, LED daytime running lights, and automatic bi-Xenon headlights.

Interior Features
The 2012 Audi A7 seats up to 4 passengers and features 24.5 cubic feet of trunk space. The base Premium trim features leather-upholstered, heated power seats; Bose sound system; 3-zone automatic climate control; Bluetooth connectivity; and Audi's proprietary Multi Media Interface touch-screen system. The upgraded Premium Plus trim adds a 6-CD changer and HD radio, while the top-of-the-line Prestige trim upgrades both the climate control system and the audio system.

Optional Features
Most of the options for the 2012 A7 are grouped into packages, but many stand-alone options are also available. The Cold Weather package is available for any trim level, and adds a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats. The Sport package is available for the Premium trim and adds 19-inch wheels, summer tires, and a sport-tuned suspension. Adding the Sport package to the Premium Plus and Prestige trims upgrades them to 20-inch wheels. Individual options include LED headlights and a premium Bang & Olufsen surround-sound audio system.

Under the Hood
The 2012 Audi A7 is powered by a supercharged, 3.0-liter V-6 engine rated at 310 horsepower, and comes standard with all-wheel drive and an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.

Fuel Economy
EPA fuel-economy figures for the 2012 Audi A7 are 18/28/22 mpg (city/highway/combined).

Safety
Standard safety features on the 2012 Audi A7 include anti-lock brakes, front-seat knee air bags, front-seat side air bags, and side curtain air bags.

To date, neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has tested the 2012 Audi A7.
