What's New for 2012:
- Some optional features are now standard
- Prestige option package is now considered a separate trim level
The Audi A4 is a luxury 4-door sport sedan that is available in sedan and Avant (wagon) configurations and offered in three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. The Premium (base) trim features 17-inch wheels, which can be upgraded to 18- and 19-inch wheels. The Premium Plus trim upgrades the bodywork and adds bi-Xenon headlights. The Prestige trim adds adaptive headlights.
The Premium trim level of the A4 includes leather upholstery, sunroof, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a 10-speaker CD audio system. Split-folding rear seats are standard on the Avant. The Premium Plus trim adds upgraded lighting, Bluetooth connectivity, automated 3-zone climate control, and heated front seats. The Prestige trim adds a power liftgate, keyless ignition and entry, navigation package, and a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Wood interior trim is available on all 2012 Audi A4s. Many features that are standard on the upper trims are available (mainly in packages) on the lower trims. The Prestige trim offers an optional S line package that includes 19-inch wheels, summer tires, special interior and exterior design touches, and faux suede inserts to the leather upholstery. The Drive Select package includes adaptive cruise control and additional sun protection. The Sport package includes a sport-tuned suspension, sport seats, steering-wheel-mounted transmission shift paddles, and a sportier steering wheel design.
