Exterior Features
The 2013 Acura RDX features standard 18-inch aluminum wheels with 235/60 all-season tires, power moonroof, and heated side mirrors with turn signal indicators.

Interior Features
Leather sport seats, heated in front and including 10-way power operation for the driver, are included on every 2013 Acura RDX. Dual-zone automatic climate control, Keyless Access with push-button start, and ambient cabin lighting are also standard, along with a 360-watt premium sound system with a USB port and an auxiliary audio jack. Bluetooth hands-free connectivity with music streaming capability is also included as standard.

Optional Features

Under the Hood
A 3.5-liter V-6 engine with 273 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 251 lb.-ft. of torque at 5,000 rpm drives the 2013 RDX's front wheels through a 6-speed Sequential SportShift automatic transmission with Drive and Sport modes, paddle shifters and grade logic control. The V-6 includes the company's proprietary Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) technology, which allows the engine to operate on fewer cylinders under low-load conditions to improve fuel economy.

An optional AWD with Intelligent Control replaces the previous Super Handling AWD system with simpler and lighter technology. New for 2013 are Amplitude Reactive Dampers and Motion Adaptive electric power steering.

Fuel Economy
  • Acura estimates that the 2013 RDX will achieve the following fuel-economy ratings:
  • RDX with FWD: 20/28/23 mpg (city/highway/combined)
  • RDX with AWD: 19/27/22 mpg

The 2013 Acura RDX features Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE), which is a structural design intended to be impact-compatible with a wide variety of vehicle types and sizes. Additionally, the new RDX is equipped with 6 air bags, 4-wheel-disc anti-lock brakes with brake assist, traction control, stability control, and a reversing camera offering three different camera views.
