The Acura MDX is a 3-row, midsize crossover SUV based on parent company Honda's front-wheel-drive unibody platform, but combines an all-wheel-drive powertrain with a car-like ride. Exterior features include 18-inch wheels, automatic Xenon headlights, fog lights, and a power liftgate.
Standard interior features on the 2012 Acura MDX include leather upholstery, sunroof, privacy glass, 3-zone automatic climate control, a full menu of power accessories, Bluetooth connectivity, and an 8-speaker sound system. The MDX offers 83.5 cubic feet of cargo space with all rear seats folded down.
Although the MDX comes in a single trim, several option packages are available. The Technology package includes premium leather upholstery; a state-of-the-art sun-sensing and GPS-linked climate control system; navigation system; upgraded sound system; voice controls; and rearview camera. The Advance package incorporates the Technology package plus 19-inch wheels, adaptive cruise control, adaptive suspension, and several additional safety features. An Entertainment package includes a rear-seat entertainment system and heated rear seats.
