Power Panel Privacy Notice

What Information Does JDPA Collect About You?
We collect contact and demographic information that you provide to us (such as your name, title and organization, address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, etc.). This information is used to identify you uniquely as an individual and is often referred to as Personally Identifiable Information, or PII.

We also collect your responses to questions that we ask you as part of our market research activities. Your decision to respond to a given survey, poll or other request from JDPA is strictly voluntary and you are free to decline to participate in our research at any time.

Does JDPA Track My Usage Online?
We and our third party service vendors track your use of our Websites through the use of cookies and other tracking mechanisms. A cookie is a text-only string of information that a Website transfers to the cookie file of the browser on your computer's hard disk so that the Website can remember you and your preferences. "Session" cookies are erased from memory when your browser closes. "Persistent" cookies help identify you and your preferences upon your return to the Website.

You must change your browser's preferences to disable or delete cookies.

Note that disabling cookies for JDPA services will eliminate your ability to use certain JDPA services.

Why Does JDPA Collect This Information?
Our primary goal in collecting information from you is to conduct market research into consumer preferences and attitudes around a variety of products and services. We also collect information from you to personalize your experience on our Websites.

Where Is My Information Stored?
JDPA has a global research team to serve our global customers. Your data may be analyzed at our JDPA Research Centers in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, Japan, China, India, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, or Thailand. All JDPA Research Centers adhere to the same standards for data security and data protection.

How Does JDPA Share Your PII?
We will not share your PII with our clients, though we may verify responses that you provide to ensure the accuracy of our research. We will share your PII within JDPA and with our vendors to the extent needed to conduct our research. All of our employees and vendors are required to adhere to JDPA's policies on safeguarding PII.

We share aggregated information that you provide within JDPA and with our clients. We use your information to help us understand the needs of consumers on a wide range of topics and to conduct research either on our behalf or for our clients.

JDPA is a member of CASRO, the Council of American Survey Research Organizations and we adhere to CASRO's policies on survey research. Please visit the CASRO website at http://www.casro.org for more information on CASRO.

We would share your information in conjunction with a sale or similar transfer of the business.

We may also share your PII when legally compelled or for other legal purposes.

If You Want To Limit Use Or Sharing Of Your PII/Reviewing Data

Since the primary purpose of this site is to collect consumer information for the purposes of market research, if you do not want to share your PII you should not register to use this service.

If you have registered for this service in error and want to ensure that your PII is removed from our systems, please contact us at via email at privacy@jdpa.com or send a letter to us at the address below. The letter should include your name, address, phone number, and email address and specify that you wish to have your name removed from our panel or that you wish to review your PII.
