2013 Lincoln Model Overview

For the 2013 model year, the Lincoln lineup will have extensive changes. The most popular model in the lineup, the MKZ, is completely redesigned and sets the tone for the future of Lincoln design. In conjunction with this model's redesign, the MKS and the MKT get new styling, updated technology, and additional safety features. Lincoln's SUV lineup, including the MKX and the Navigator, are mostly unchanged for 2013.


2013 Lincoln MKS
The 2013 Lincoln MKS is a full-size luxury sedan equipped with a 304-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 engine or a twin-turbocharged, 3.5-liter V-6 engine producing 365 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque between 1,500 and 5,000 rpm. Front-wheel drive is standard with the 3.7-liter engine, with all-wheel drive available as an option. All-wheel drive is standard with the turbocharged, 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine. The MKS is based on the Ford Taurus.

2013 Lincoln MKT
The 2013 Lincoln MKT is a full-size luxury crossover SUV with three rows of seats and 7-passenger capacity. A 303-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 engine is standard, driving the front or all four wheels. The MKT EcoBoost model gets a twin-turbocharged, 3.5-liter V-6 engine that generates 365 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque between 1,500 and 5,250 rpm, and is equipped with standard all-wheel drive. The MKT is based on the Ford Flex.

2013 Lincoln MKX
The 2013 Lincoln MKX is a 5-passenger luxury crossover SUV. A 305-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 engine is standard, and delivers power to the front or all four wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The MKX is based on the Ford Edge.

2013 Lincoln MKZ
The Lincoln MKZ is a midsize luxury sedan. It is completely redesigned for 2013, offered with a choice of a 240-horsepower, turbocharged, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and a 300-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 engine. A 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters is standard, distributing power to the MKZ's front wheels. All-wheel drive is optional. The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid features a new gas-electric hybrid powertrain pairing a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with an electric assist motor powered by a Lithium-ion battery pack. Combined, total system output measures 188 horsepower, and Lincoln says the MKZ Hybrid can achieve a top speed of 62 mph operating solely on electricity. The new MKZ is based on the redesigned 2013 Ford Fusion.

2013 Lincoln Navigator
The 2013 Lincoln Navigator is a full-size luxury SUV with three rows of seats and 8-passenger capacity. It is a body-on-frame truck equipped with an independent rear suspension that makes it possible for the third-row seat to fold into the floor. Regular- and extended-length models are available, and the Navigator can tow up to 9,000 pounds while carrying as much as 128.2 cubic feet of cargo.
