2014 Nissan Murano Pricing Remains Unchanged from 2013

By: Jeff Youngs, 10/1/2013
Nissan announced last week that pricing for the 2014 Murano will remain unchanged from 2013. The MSRP range for the 2014 model begins at $29,000 for the Murano S FWD (front-wheel drive) midsize crossover (CUV) to just under $40,000 for the high-end Murano LE AWD (all-wheel drive) model.

Now in its second generation, the uniquely styled Murano is named after a city in Italy. It debuted as a 2003 model and was redesigned for the 2009 model year.

Four Murano trim levels are offered, with FWD or AWD. Already on sale in dealer showrooms, the 2014 model is equipped with a 260-horsepower, 3.5-liter DOHC V-6 engine mated with Nissan's Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). A convertible model, the Murano CrossCabriolet, also is offered.

Nissan also is promoting a special $2,270 bundled feature package for the SV trim level that includes navigation, Bluetooth streaming audio, Bose audio system, and a power liftgate. The 2014 Murano also is available with additional safety features, including Moving Object Detection, blind-spot warning, and lane-departure warning systems. Enhancements for 2014 also include the addition of a graphite interior with Tinted Bronze exterior.
