2014 Chevrolet Impala Pricing Starts at $27,535
One of the best-selling models in the United States, the Chevy Impala is completely redesigned for the 2014 model year, based on the same platform that underpins the Buick LaCrosse and Cadillac XTS, and will be offered in LS, LT and LTZ trim levels.
Key highlights of the new 2014 Impala include a next-generation version of Chevy MyLink technology, which adopts voice-recognition capability. Ten air bags are standard, and the redesigned Impala can be optioned with an adaptive cruise control system, blind-spot monitoring system, and rear cross-traffic alert technology.
Under the Impala's hood, Chevrolet offers a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine generating an estimated 195 horsepower. An eAssist mild hybrid powertrain is also available, producing an estimated 182 horsepower while returning what Chevy claims will be 35 mpg on the highway. The direct-injected, 305-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 engine is optional for the Impala LT and LTZ.
The 2014 Impala LTZ V-6 goes on sale shortly after the first of the year, followed by models with the 2.5-liter 4-cylinder and the eAssist hybrid powertrain.
