Recall Roundup: Honda and Nissan are Recalling SUVs
2013 Acura RDX
During sub-freezing temperatures, the 2013 Acura RDX's brake-shift interlock mechanism may operate slowly, allowing the gearshift selector to be moved from Park without the driver pressing down on the brake pedal. As a result, the vehicle could roll away if the gear selector is moved, increasing the risk of a crash.
To resolve the problem, Acura dealers will install a new brake-shift interlock mechanism, free of charge. The recall begins May 13. Owners can contact Acura with questions by calling 1-800-999-1009 and referencing recall numbers S96, S97 and S98. The NHTSA campaign ID number is 13V143000.

2013 Infiniti JX35
Infiniti dealers want to see all JX35 models built between December 3, 2012, and January 29, 2013. A structural weakness has been found in the front brake torque members, which can result in premature cracking and failure. If a member fails, the brake caliper may move out of place, resulting in reduced braking response.
Dealers will inspect the manufacturing date of the front brake torque members and, if necessary, replace them free of charge. The recall begins in early May of 2013. Owners with questions may contact Infiniti by calling 1-800-647-7261. The NHTSA recall campaign ID number is 13V139000.
