Orange Subaru WRX Special Editions Debut at SEMA Show in Time for Halloween

10/31/2012
In conjunction with the 2012 Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) trade show in Las Vegas, Subaru announced a new special edition of its WRX and WRX STI sedan models. Only 300 vehicles will be produced, all dipped in custom Tangerine Orange paint. While most will offer the WRX's 265-horsepower engine, 100 versions will have the WRX STI's 305-horsepower engine.

In addition to the special paint job, the new 2013 Subaru WRX and WRX STI "Orange and Black" Special Edition models are equipped with Jet Black wheels, mirror housings, badges, and lower body graphics. Inside, the darker interior trim and black headliner from the WRX STI are standard on all models, along with orange stitching for the seats, shifter boot, and emergency brake handle. The floor mats also offer orange trim, and embroidered seat logos are rendered in orange.

Subaru said the new Orange and Black Special Edition versions of the WRX and WRX STI go on sale in the spring of 2013 and advised interested parties to contact their local dealership for further details.
