2015 Audi TT Closes Out Second-Generation Run of Sports Car

By: Jeff Youngs, 3/26/2014
Audi has redesigned the Audi TT for the 2016 model year and is closing out its run of the current version of the car by offering new standard and optional features for both the coupe and convertible body styles.

Standard equipment for the 2015 Audi TT now includes heated front seats and a new 5-arm Dynamic aluminum wheel design. Audi Exclusive leather-wrapped roll bars are available for both body styles, and a new S-line Plus Carbon package spruces up the TT's appearance.

The 2015 Audi TT continues to offer a turbocharged, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine generating 211 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque, which the automaker says can accelerate the TT Coupe to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds. The performance-tuned 2015 Audi TTS is still equipped with a massaged version of the same motor that is rated to make 265 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. Acceleration to 60 mph takes as little as 4.9 seconds for the TTS model, according to Audi.

For 2015, the Audi TTS is offered with a new Competition package including Imola Yellow or Nimbus Gray paint, a fixed rear spoiler instead of an adaptive speed-dependent spoiler, and silver-finish aluminum wheels in a 5-arm Rotor design. Inside, the TTS Competition package includes Baseball Optic leather with Imola Yellow accents and contrast stitching.

The 2015 Audi TT and TTS models go on sale in the spring of 2014.
