Chrysler Partners with Fashion Designer John Varvatos for Special Edition 300s
Varvatos said, "I've always been a car enthusiast since I was a young kid growing up in Detroit. I worked a couple of summers in a Chrysler plant assembling brake pads. I loved the grit of muscle cars when I was growing up. I love the roar of engines. I love the lines of those cars. I love the wheels on those cars, so throughout my life I've always paid a lot of attention to cars."
Unveiled during New York City's Fashion Week, the new 2013 Chrysler 300C Limited Edition features Phantom Black tri-coat paint with Titanium exterior trim, darkened taillight lenses, and a new 20-inch wheel design. Inside, unique tailored Pewter Metallic leather with Diesel Gray exposed stitching is wrapped around the seats, an extended leather treatment is applied to the cabin, and the steering wheel is heated. The Chrysler 300C Limited Edition includes pearlescent white gauges and a clock face inspired by John Varvatos watches, and this model's interior includes Charcoal wood trim and Titanium accents. The 300C Limited Edition goes on sale during the first quarter of 2013.
The 2013 Chrysler 300C Luxury Edition will be available starting in the fourth quarter of 2012 and is equipped with a choice between Black or two-tone Black and Dark Mocha interior trim, including Nappa leather seats with 12-way power adjustment, heating, and ventilation, a matching leather-wrapped heated steering wheel with a chrome accent ring, hand-sanded Natural Pore Mocha matte wood interior trim, and Platinum Chrome exterior trim including a mesh grille. Polished aluminum wheels are standard, sized 20 inches with rear-wheel drive and 19 inches with all-wheel drive.
Chrysler offers both of its new special-edition 300C models with a 3.6-liter, 292-horsepower V-6 or a 5.7-liter, 363-horsepower V-8 engine and rear-wheel drive. The Luxury Edition is also available with all-wheel drive.
