2016 Infiniti Q30 Previewed by Concept Car in Frankfurt

Recently, Infiniti announced that it would continue selling the existing G37 Sedan until mid-2015 as a discounted entry-luxury model, one that would be slotted into the lineup beneath the all-new Q50 to give the automaker a model to sell at a price closer to $30,000. Infiniti is expected to discontinue the G37 Sedan when the production version of the new 2016 Q30 arrives.
In concept form, the Q30 delivers what Infiniti calls "sleek, seductive" and "dynamic design" that combines the sportiness of a coupe, the utility of a 5-door hatchback, and the higher stance of a crossover SUV. The vehicle's styling continues themes introduced on recent Infiniti models, including the Q50 and QX60. Infiniti says that the Q30 is "designed for younger customers" who seek alternatives to traditional choices and who are "open to convention-challenging approaches."
More details about the Infiniti Q30 Concept are expected when the automaker holds its official press conference on September 10, 2013, in Frankfurt.
