New Corvette Prices Announced, 2014 'Vette Pricing Starts at $51,995

4/29/2013
How much does the new, redesigned 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray cost? Prices start at $51,995 for the 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe and $56,999 for the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Both prices include a destination charge of $995, and represent a $1,400 price increase over the outgoing model.

When does the 2014 Corvette go on sale? The new Stingray rolls into Chevy dealerships this summer.

Chevrolet announced the pricing on April 26. In a statement, Chris Perry, vice president, Chevrolet marketing, said: "The Corvette Stingray delivers a combination of performance, design, and technology that very few manufacturers can match, and none can even come close for $52,000."

To remind customers what is packed into a standard 2014 Corvette Stingray, Chevrolet notes that the base price includes new features, such as a 6.2-liter V-8 engine with gas-saving Active Fuel Management, 7-speed manual gearbox with Active Rev Matching, Drive Mode Selector system, aluminum frame, carbon fiber hood and, for the coupe models, carbon fiber removable roof panel. Every 2014 Corvette Stingray is equipped with dual 8-inch configurable instrumentation and infotainment screens, Chevrolet MyLink technology, a Bose premium audio system, keyless access with push-button starting, and more.

Load the 2014 'Vette with equipment, similar to the car that debuted at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit last January, and the price tag rises to $73,360. That debut model has 3LT trim ($8,005, including premium leather, navigation, surround-sound audio, head-up display, heated and ventilated seats); a Z71 Performance package ($2,800, including upgraded wheels, tires, transmission, brakes, differential, chassis tuning); competition sport seats ($2,495); Magnetic Ride Control suspension ($1,795); and a dual-mode exhaust system ($1,195).

Additional upgrades for the Detroit show car included exposed carbon fiber on the roof panel ($1,995) and carbon fiber interior trim ($995), as well as suede microfiber on the car's upper interior panels ($995), red-painted brake calipers ($595), and black-painted wheels ($495).
