2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Limited to 500 Copies

By: Jeff Youngs, 5/14/2014
Although Cadillac redesigned the CTS Sedan for the 2014 model year, the CTS Coupe and the CTS Sport Wagon have continued in previous-generation format, serving two niche audiences as the company readies replacements. While 2014 was expected to be the final year for these two models, Cadillac has announced that a limited-production run of 500 CTS-V Coupes will be produced as 2015 model-year vehicles.

These high-performance luxury sport coupes will continue to offer a supercharged, 556-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 engine, upgraded suspension and braking components, and unique styling designed to set it apart from other models. Color choices are limited to Crystal White, Black Diamond, and Phantom Gray, and all will have a dark-finish grille, Satin Graphite wheels, and red-painted Brembo brake calipers.

Inside, the 2015 CTS-V Coupe is equipped with a black interior with red contrast stitching and Midnight Sapele wood trim. Recaro performance seats are standard, along with metal pedals, suede-wrapped steering wheel, and a 6-speed manual gearbox. A power sunroof and an automatic transmission are optional.

Cadillac assures enthusiasts that the next generation of V-Series models is currently in development and will debut sometime in 2015.
