2013 Toyota Corolla Offered with New Premium Option Packages

Toyota has announced that the 2013 Corolla S and LE models will be offered with a choice of three optional Premium packages in response to trends that the brand says show "compact car buyers are increasingly seeking premium features." The new option packages complement the new grille added to all 2013 Corolla models, and the new 6.1-inch Display Audio touch screen with Bluetooth connectivity and a USB port, which is installed as standard equipment in the Corolla S and LE models.

For the Corolla S, which is equipped with a sporty body kit, the new Premium package includes 17-inch aluminum wheels and a power sunroof. The Premium Interior package adds automatic climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel with auxiliary audio controls, and automatic headlights. The Premium Complete package includes these items, plus satellite radio, HD Radio with iTunes tagging capability, navigation system, voice-recognition technology, and Toyota's Entune smartphone integration technology. Entune allows the driver to operate smartphone applications, stream Pandora Internet radio, search the Web using Bing, and more right from the in-dash Display Audio screen.

These option packages include similar items for the Corolla LE model, but the 17-inch aluminum wheels are swapped out for 16-inch wheels, the Premium package adds fog lights (standard on Corolla S models), and the Premium Interior package also includes an 8-way power driver's seat for the LE model.
