BMW Introduces 6 Series M Sport Edition in Coupe, Gran Coupe, and Convertible Flavors

Luxury car buyers have a new option when shopping for a 2014 BMW 6 Series: the M Sport Edition. The new M Sport Edition is offered for all 6 Series variants except the M6.

Equipped with the M Sport package and the Executive package, the new 6 Series M Sport Edition adds adaptive LED headlights and a Dynamic Digital Instrument Cluster. The M Sport package adds an M aerodynamics body kit, unique 19-inch aluminum wheels, sport seats wrapped in premium Nappa leather, and special interior and exterior trim and décor modifications. The Executive package equips the car with a premium sound system, soft-close doors, ventilated multi-contour front seats, head-up display, and concierge services.

When added to a 650i or 650i xDrive model, the M Sport Edition also includes a Driver Assistance package. This package contains a lane-departure warning system, active blind-spot detection system, Side and Top View Camera system, and a speed limit information display. Additionally, the 6 Series M Sport Edition is offered with Sakhir Orange Metallic paint, previously reserved for the M6 model, as well as a BMW Individual Merino leather interior in Opal White with Sakhir Orange stitching.

This new variant of BMW's iconic luxury sports coupe, convertible, and Gran Coupe will be available in the summer. According to BMW, the additional content adds $4,600 to the 6 Series convertible, $4,800 to the 6 Series coupe, and $5,300 to the 6 Series Gran Coupe.
