For 2012, the following hatchback and station wagon models received both a "Top Safety Pick" rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and a 4-star or 5-star overall crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The models are listed in alphabetical order.
